Kapiti Junior Chess Championship

Format:
Individual event for all competitors, plus a team event for Kapiti Horowhenua schools only.
Swiss tournament of 6 rounds, with 15 minutes + 5 sec / move.

Playing Divisions (5):
Open (U20 @ 1/1/24 with NCZF Rtg +1200)
Senior: 13 years & over
Intermediate: 11-12 years
Junior: 10 years & under
Kapiti Schools Team Cup: Kapiti Horowhenua schools & colleges only (up to 4 players counting per team)

Entry fee: $20 Open to primary and college students.

Prizes:
Individual medals & trophy to leading Kapiti / Horowhenua School, plus cash prizes for Open.

Include your name & “KJCC” as reference.
