Crossroad Chess Tournament (#2)

Date: Saturday 14 November 2024 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm

Chessroad Tournament is organised for Juniors who are beginners and Intermediate players.

The organisers will provide an initial provisional internal rating to all new players.  

This tournament is organised to improve Juniors chess knowledge and to unleash the chess skills for over the board tournaments,  giving the opportunity to play with internal and external players.

Fee $30

Format

6 Rounds unrated tournament

10mins each player plus 5 seconds increment per move from move one

Venue: Glenfield Community Centre, “Mission Hall”

A Monthly Tournament Organised by WCM Eva Lourenco

Arbiter: Pierre Braganza 

Prizes including for Best Girl 

Winners will be awarded Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals + chocolate box

Grade Prize for Under 8 age category

(Plus 5 Lucky Dip Prizes)

(Note: Players may not win more than one prize in a tournament,

Buchholz will be used for tie-breaks)
