Chessroad Junior Chess Tournament #1 2025
Chessroad Tournament is organised for Juniors of all levels who are beginners, Intermediate or advanced players.
The organisers will provide an initial provisional internal rating to all new players.
This tournament is organised to improve Juniors chess knowledge and to unleash the chess skills for over the board tournaments, giving the opportunity to play with internal and external players.
Format 5 Rounds
Time Control : 10mins + 5 sec increment
Venue: Glenfield Community Centre, “Mission Hall”

Arbiter: Pierre Braganza Prizes including for Best Girl
Entry + Playing Fee: $30 if paid by 15th Jan ($35 if paid on or after 16th Jan which includes late fee)

•. Total Prize Fund – $150
- Multiple Prizes and Tiebreaks: Players may not win more than one cash prize in a tournament – the highest cash prize will be paid and other prizes will be passed down to the next highest-placed player. Cash prizes will be shared by eligible players on the same score and ties will not be broken.
- TieBreak: will apply for Medal winners in the Under 8 age category
- Lucky Dip Prizes: This will based on the entries
- Prize money will be paid to the players bank account after the event and
- on receipt of bank account details.
Prize giving after the last game finishes in Round 5
