Final field announced for Bob Wade Memorial Masters 2025
Paul Spiller is proud to announce the final field for this IM Norm event to be held at the Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre from 13-19 January 2025.
This event has been made possible through sponsorship from the Middle Game Foundation and FIDE’s Planning & Development Commission.
The 5 players from the NZL Olympiad team who played in Budapest in September are joined by GM’s Raymond Song from Tapei, Gabor Nagy from Hungary and former Oceania Champion Zon-Yuan Zhao from Australia. Regular visitor to our shores, and national NZ Women’s coach, IM Herman Van Riemsdijk, and 15 year old FM Yining Chen from China make up the rest of this 10 player field (9 round, round robin).
