Twenty-seven standard rated tournaments have been processed involving 474 players and 2396 games. The open tournaments are North Island, Auckland Anzac, Waitakere Trusts (A – C, Junior), North Shore Peter Stuart Memorial, and Canterbury Arie Nijman Memorial. The club tournaments are Auckland Autumn and May Weekend, Summit Summer and Championship, North Shore Winter, Howick-Pakuranga Parkinson Cup and Fairhurst Pawn, Papatoetoe Autumn, Waitakere Arnold Cup, Mount Maunganui Main Event (2, 3, 4), Canterbury Championships (A – C) and Colthart Cup, Otago Championships (A1, B1) and Graham Haase Memorial.

Twenty-eight rapid rated tournaments have been processed involving 778 players and 3778 games. The open tournaments are Summit April (U2000, U1000), May and June (U2000, U1600, U1000), Upper Hutt, Kapiti, and Otago Winter. The club tournaments are North Shore Championship (1, 2), Auckland April, May, June, and Autumn, Summit Autumn, Papatoetoe Bruce Marsick Cup, Waitakere Half-Hour, Wellington Championship, Kapiti Winter, Canterbury Junior (April, May, June), and Otago Championship. Two school tournaments, North Shore Intermediate and Secondary, have been rated.

Top Fifty: The top three standard rated players are unchanged with Alphaeus Ang on 2483 ahead of Alexei Kulashko (2456) and Ben Hague (2450). Roger Nokes (2414) is a new entry at number four with Nic Croad (2394) dropping to fifth. There is no change in the top five rapid players. Alphaeus Ang is top on 2438 followed by Ben Hague (2407), Anthony Ker (2364), Russell Dive (2337), and Felix Xie (2324).
