World Cadets Chess Championships (U8, U10, U12) – Almaty, Kazakhstan – Sep 18 to Oct 1 – short application process open (22 JUNE DEADLINE)

The organizers, International Chess Federation FIDE and the Kazakhstan Chess Federation and the Department of Sports of the City of Almaty with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan are inviting all national chess federations of FIDE to participate in the World Cadet Chess Championships 2025. The dates are 18 September (arrivals) to 01 October 2025 (departures).

The deadline for applications (to the NZCF) is Sunday 22 June 2025. There are 6 official places available (with free room and board) – 1 Open and 1 Girl per age group U8, U10 and U12. If there is more than 1 application for an official place then selections will be made by the NZCF.
