Training Opportunity for NZL Juniors (aged 8-16)
There are two parts to this – the first is online training during December and possibly early January (at this stage we do not have times or dates) – followed by an in-person camp in the UAE for a smaller selected group of players.
(Participation in the camp will be determined based on selection criteria to be announced at a later stage).
So, for the 1st part (the online sessions) NZL has 4 free places – 2 boys and 2 girls (ages 8-16).

Please provide your full name, FIDE ID and a brief message on why you think you should be selected (your future chess aims, how the training would benefit you etc.).
If there are more applicants than places, then the national directors of training Richie Christie and Gordon Lyall will make a selection.
