Pub Charity Grant

The New Zealand Chess Federation (NZCF) is delighted to announce that it has received a generous grant from Pub Charity.

In 2024 we received $6,300 to go toward the costs of our webmaster and administrator.

This year we have been awarded $11,200 to go towards the costs of our webmaster and administrator, as well as our social media team and director of training costs.

By ensuring that our online presence is maintained and expanded, that our administrative operations run smoothly and that we can provide quality training to our players, this funding will significantly support our ongoing efforts to promote and develop chess across New Zealand.

Pub Charity has a long history of supporting community organizations throughout New Zealand. Their commitment to returning funds raised from gaming machines in member hotels and taverns back to the community is commendable and greatly appreciated by organizations like ours.
