Swiss tournaments of 6 rounds.

Time Control: 25 minutes + 5 seconds per move.

Rating: Tournament A: aimed at current NZCF 1100+ ranked players looking for ranked play

Tournament B: NZCF unrated tournament aimed at younger or newer players

Where players do not have a published NZCF rating, the Chief Arbiter may assign a rating at his discretion.

Prize money:

Tournament A prize fund of $900 is guaranteed: 1st $300, 2nd $240, 3rd $180, 4^th $80, U1600 $100,

Tournament B 1st $60, 2nd $40

Entry Fee: $45 Tournament A, $25 Tournament B ($5 discount for Upper Hutt Chess Club Members)
