Venue: Knox Presbyterian Church Hall, 524 Devon Street East, Fitzroy, New Plymouth.

Format: Six-round open Swiss tournament – 25 minutes + 5 seconds per move. Article A.4 of the
Laws of Chess will apply.

Entry Fee: $40 Adults, $30 Juniors Under 20 yrs

Club account for payment: 15-3942-0001596-00 (state “RAPID” for Particulars and give last name
and initials as Reference).

Prizes: Prize money will depend on entries received and will be announced on the day of the
tournament. We are expecting to have age and grade category prizes.

Timetable: PLAYERS ARE ASKED TO REPORT BY 9.40am

• Morning Tea Break
• 11.20 – 12.20 Round 2
• 12.30 – 1.30 Round 3
• Lunch Break
• 2.15 – 3.15 Round 4
• 3.25 – 4.25 Round 5
• Afternoon Tea Break
• 4.45 – 5.45 Round 6

Prizze giving will commence as soon as possible after the final round. Morning and Afternoon Tea will
be provided.
