NZ Seniors & Veterans Chess Championships 2025

Venue: 15 Cathedral Lane, Napier South, Napier

There are direct flights to Napier from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Cathedral Lane is off Tennyson Street in Napier CBD, with directions to the playing venue signposted on the day. There are plenty of accommodation options within walking distance of the venue.

Top Female $100

The highest placed New Zealand player shall the be the New Zealand Seniors Chess Champion.
The highest placed player over the age of 64 on 1st January 2025 (born before the year 1961) shall be the
New Zealand Veterans Chess Champion.
Monetary prizes are subject to a minimum of 3 entrants in each prize group.
No player may win more than one prize.
Prizes and titles will be shared equally in the event of a tie.
