Hawke’s Bay Rapid 2026
Date and time: Sunday 15th February from 9am to 5:30pm
Venue: 15 Cathedral Lane, Napier CBD, Napier.
Format: 6 round Swiss, comprising three separate tournaments: A (open), B (below 1800) and Junior (U20 and U1200).
The time control for each tournament is 25 minutes with 5 seconds increment starting from move 1. Games will be NZCF and FIDE rated where possible.
Schedule: Doors open from 8am. The players meeting is at 9:30am with Round 1 starting at 10am. Prizegiving will be as soon as possible after the last game finishes (approximately 6pm).
