Asian Schools Chess Championships 2025 (Mongolia) – short deadline

The Ulaanbaatar Chess Club, on behalf of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF), FIDE, and Mongolian Chess Federation, has the honor to invite all Asian National Chess Federations to participate in the Asian Schools Chess Championship 2025 and Asian Youth Rapid & Blitz Championships, to be held 24th October (arrival) – 2nd November (departure) 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

There is one official NZL place with (free room and board) for a boy and a girl in each of the following ag groups:

Under 7: Born on or after 1st Jan 2018

Under 9: Born on or after 1st Jan 2016
Under 11: Born on or after 1st Jan 2014
Under 13: Born on or after 1st Jan 2012
Under 15: Born on or after 1st Jan 2010
Under 17: Born on or after 1st Jan 2008

Other NZL Players may enter, but pay full board etc.

There is a very short turn around in terms of selection and registration

Please email the NZCF Admin Officer Richie Christie admin@newzealandchess.co.nz before 8pm on Wednesday the 24th of September 2025 (This coming Wednesday!) if you would like to enter this event and apply for an official place.

If there are multiple applicants for a place, the selections will be made asap by the national selectors.
