ASEAN+ Individual Chess Championships 2025 (Philippines) – 2 to 10 November 2025 – Selections Open
The National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) is spearheaded by Hon. Chairman/President Prospero A. Pichay Jr with the collaboration of the province of Misamis Occidental under the leadership of Hon. Governor Henry S. Oaminal, is pleased to extend this formal invitation to all ASEAN+ Chess Federations, partner associates, and members to participate in the ASEAN+ Individual Chess Championships 2025 (Open & Women) and Challenger Section FIDE rating 2199 Below, which will be held in Misamis Occidental, Philippines from November 2-10, 2025.
This prestigious event aims to bring together the finest chess players from across the region to compete in a spirit of friendship, sportsmanship, and excellence. It serves not only as a competitive platform but also as an avenue to strengthen camaraderie and cooperation among our federations.
NZL has been allocated 2 official places – one in the Open section and one in the Women’s. These players will receive free board and lodging. They will still be responsible for their airfares, other travel costs, registration and entry fees.
Other NZL players (ie. not the officially selected player) can still enter, but will have to pay all their costs.
