Applications Open: 2025 World Youth Chess Championships – Durres, Albania – 3 to 16 October

The organizers, International Chess Federation (FIDE) and Albania Chess Federation (ACHF), are inviting all National Chess Federations affiliated to FIDE to participate in the World Youth Chess Championships 2025. The event will be organized in Durres, Albania, from October 3rd (arrivals) to October 16th, 2025 (departures).

The deadline for submitting this form (to the NZCF) is Friday 18 July 2025. There are 6 official places available (with free room and board) – 1 Open and 1 Girl per age group U14, U16 and U18. If there is more than 1 application for an official place then selections will be made by the NZCF.
