2026 World Youth Chess Championships – 2 Official Places still available

The 2026 World Youth Chess Championships are in June in Italy.

Do to some late changes we have vacancies for 2 official NZL places (Girls Under 16 and Girls Under 18) – official players receive full board for the duration fo the e vent – see the full regulations here: https://www.chessworldyouth.com/

The selection process will re-open for these 2 sections only – and will close at 8pm on Sunday night (15th March 2026).

To apply for an official place, please email the NZCF Admin Officeer at admin@newzealandchess.co.nz – please include the name of the player, date of birth and FIDE ID.
