2026 Olympiad – applications for NZL teams now open

The upcoming chess Olympiad takes place from 15-28 September 2026 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Applications for the New Zealand Open and Women’s teams are now open and close on Saturday 31 January 2026′

Please note that as these selections are for the New Zealand national teams, applicants who are rated under 2100 (Open) or 1700 (Women) are unlikely to be selected.
